Production Planner (m/f/d)

In this role, you ensure that the required production parts are available on time and at competitive costs. You combine your technical expertise with strong organizational skills and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our procurement processes.
Your tasks
- You procure production parts based on technical drawings and bills of materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective availability
- You prepare preliminary cost calculations and evaluate production costs
- You research, select and qualify suitable national and international suppliers
- You obtain, review and compare quotations
- You coordinate technical and commercial requirements with our suppliers
- You monitor delivery dates, costs and quality requirements
- You maintain item, supplier and procurement data in our ERP system
- You identify potential for improvement and further develop existing procurement and production planning processes
- You act as the technical interface between suppliers, engineering, purchasing and other internal departments
Your profile
- You have completed technical vocational training, ideally supplemented by further qualification as a master craftsman or technician
- You have sound knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes in mechanical engineering
- Experience with ERP and PLM systems is an advantage
- You have a good technical understanding and are confident in reading and evaluating technical drawings and bills of materials
- You have strong negotiation skills, a good awareness of costs and a professional and reliable manner
- In addition, you have business-fluent English skills for working with international suppliers
- You work independently, in a structured manner and with a strong sense of responsibility
- Strong communication skills, an open and approachable personality and excellent teamwork skills complete your profile
