Engineer (m/f/d) Application, Process & Development

You don’t just want to improve existing processes. You want to develop new manufacturing solutions, translate trends into market-ready ideas, and work with customers to design products that are suitable for production right from the start? Then you’re a perfect fit for our Research & Development team.

Your tasks

  • You develop innovative manufacturing and testing processes from the initial idea to industrialization and series production readiness
  • You assume technical leadership of project teams and hold overall responsibility for development and research projects
  • You work closely with customers, using Design for Manufacturing (DfM), ensure that new products can be manufactured in a robust, economical, and reliable manner
  • You design and conduct experiments, prototype tests, feasibility studies and document the results in a comprehensible manner
  • You analyze measurement systems, process capabilities (e.g. Cp/Cpk) and derive limits, specifications and measures to stabilize processes
  • You identify megatrends, market movements, technological developments and translate them into product and process ideas as well as innovation approaches
  • You provide technical consulting to customers and internal departments, support sales with complex inquiries through expertise, clarity and solution competence
  • You work in interdisciplinary teams (development, design, automation, quality) and actively contribute your ideas to projects
  • You supervise theses interns and pass on your know-how in a practical, hands-on way

Your profile

  • You have a PhD or Master’s degree and relevant work experience in mechanical engineering, production technology or mechatronics
  • You are enthusiastic about mechatronic systems, manufacturing technologies and the development of new solutions
  • You communicate confidently, both internally and externally and enjoy working directly with customers
  • You have very good German skills and good English skills
  • You work analytically, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, while also being creative enough to think beyond the obvious
  • You demonstrate a high level of personal responsibility, team spirit and a willingness to continuously develop yourself
  • You are willing to travel for customer visits and project-related appointments.
