Designing Engineer Special Machines (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• You design and develop fixtures, test benches, machines, and systems for customer-specific applications
• Within your area of responsibility, you take on the technical project management and lead the team
• You support your projects throughout the entire process, from the concept phase and design through manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning
• Within your projects, you take technical responsibility and coordinate the specialist departments involved
• You develop technical concepts, evaluate different solution approaches, and carry out the necessary technical calculations and dimensioning
• You specify purchased parts and technical components and select them based on both technical and commercial criteria
• You work closely with the Electrical Design, Software, Assembly, and Project Management teams
• Throughout the entire project implementation, you coordinate technical matters directly with our customers and suppliers
• You keep track of project costs, schedules, and resources and actively contribute to the successful execution of your projects
• With your technical expertise, you support the optimization and further development of existing machine and system concepts

Your profile

• You have successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, automation engineering, or equivalent education
• You bring professional experience and solid knowledge in project management in the field of plant and special machinery construction
• Ideally, you already have experience in the development and design of test benches and test fixtures, particularly for components carrying media or fuels
• You have strong knowledge of 3D CAD design, ideally using SolidWorks
• You are able to analyze technical relationships, develop solution concepts, and independently design and dimension technical solutions
• Knowledge of FMEA, Lean Management, SolidWorks Simulation, and Flow Simulation is an advantage
• You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner while also enjoying collaboration within a team
• Open communication with customers and colleagues, combined with good English skills, completes your profile
