Your tasks
- You install, maintain, and repair specialized machinery at customer sites throughout North America
- You conduct engaging operator training sessions to ensure efficient and safe machine operation
- You provide remote technical support and troubleshooting, collaborating closely with colleagues in Germany when needed
- You support customers during production startup phases, ensuring smooth and reliable operations
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and continuously improve service quality and efficiency
- You create clear service reports and manage customer communications professionally
Your profile
- You have a technical qualification in electrical engineering or mechatronics (vocational training, technician, degree or equivalent practical experience
- You bring previous experience in field service engineering or technical support roles, preferably within the machinery or industrial equipment industry
- You have solid knowledge in mechanical assembly, electrical engineering, pneumatics, hydraulics, control systems, and machine operations
- You have basic knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCat or Siemens S7 programming is a plus, and training will be provided to build these skills
- You have strong technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- You have the ability to collaborate effectively and support colleagues during business trips
- You have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with strong proficiency in English
- You are comfortable with extensive travel (approx. 70–80%) across North America, with occasional international trips to Germany for training and support
- You are able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Environment
- You bring a customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service
