You’ve probably noticed that there are more and more electric cars on the road these days. Sonplas is making a real contribution to this trend – we build machines that are used to produce components for electric cars, among other thing. What motivates us is making our customers – and mobility world-wide – more energy-efficient. In order to contribute to the mobility transition, we offer motivated young people like you the opportunity to start their careers with us.

With our machines and services, we’re making the transition towards electric vehicles, hydrogen and fuel cells possible. With 350 employees, our Straubing location develops machinery and systems for the production and testing of key components such as rotors, power electronics for the electric powertrain and batteries for the automotive industry.

Our training slots
for 2024

We offer a dual vocational training program in cooperation with various vocational schools. It typically takes 3.5 years to complete.

During your training, you will be paid € 1,088 in the first year, € 1,146 in the second year, € 1,220 in the third year and € 1,270 in the fourth year. You’ll also get a holiday bonus and a Christmas bonus.
