Your tasks

  • You are responsible for the design, development and engineering of test benches and test fixtures for fuel-carrying components
  • In your area of responsibility, you take on technical project management and lead the project team
  • You develop technical concepts, perform engineering calculations, and design test fixtures and assemblies
  • Your tasks include creating explosion protection concepts, conducting ignition source assessments and risk analyses, and deriving and preparing the corresponding shutdown matrices
  • You are also responsible for the specification and technical selection of purchased components
  • Throughout project execution, you maintain active communication with our customers
  • In addition, you take responsibility for project costs, schedules, and resource planning

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, automation engineering, or a comparable technical  qualification
  • You have professional experience and strong expertise in the design and engineering of machines and systems operated with hazardous or explosive media such as methanol, ammonia, or hydrogen.
    You are well-versed in the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU as well as the relevant IEC 60079 and IEC 80079 standards
  • You possess comprehensive knowledge of functional safety for machinery
  • You have experience in project execution within plant engineering and special-purpose machinery, and you bring solid expertise in this field
  • You have strong 3D design skills, ideally using SolidWorks
  • Knowledge in Lean Management and FMEA methods is an advantage
  • Experience in SolidWorks Simulation and Flow Simulation completes your profile
  • You have good English skills and are characterized by high motivation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team
